Important safety notice
Fishing, wading, boating, and kayaking involve inherent risks including drowning, hypothermia, injury from hooks/tackle, weather, altitude, and wildlife. You assume these risks.
Life jackets / PFDs
U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices should be worn according to federal, state, and local law and manufacturer instructions. A PFD only works if worn correctly and maintained properly. Verify current USCG approval labeling and sizing before wear - do not rely on marketing copy alone.
Wading
Never wade beyond your ability. Use a wading belt with waders, appropriate footwear, and a wading staff in current. Unbuckle wader straps if you fall so water can escape.
Boating & kayaking
Follow all Colorado boating regulations, AIS inspection rules, and navigation laws. Carry required safety equipment. Weather on Colorado reservoirs changes quickly.
Electrical & fish finders
Install and use electronics per manufacturer instructions. Keep devices dry; mind battery safety.
Children's products
Adult supervision required. Small tackle parts are choking hazards.
