How to fish it this week
Leave the trailer at home. CPW's Jackson Lake State Park page and highlights, read this morning, say the boat ramp is closed for the 2026 season. Hand-launched canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are still allowed. The aquatic nuisance species inspection station is closed for 2026. Check with the Jackson Lake State Park visitor center if you need an inspection.
What you are fishing for
The page says the lake is stocked with warmwater fish and points you to the Fishing Atlas. It does not name the species, so this report does not either. We did not find a catch report from the water this week. This is Jackson Lake State Park. It is not Jackson Gulch Reservoir near Mancos, and this report does not use that station.
